• Pre-requisite : Purchase of a CASA equipment from IMV Technologies - Basic understanding of porcine reproduction and prior experience in handling laboratory procedures.

Day 1 - Theoretical explanation and demonstration of :	Day 2 and 3 - Self-practice on each of the above topics
Advantages of artificial breeding	Practising with the help of the trainer
Boar management and Semen collection procedures	Practising on your own with checkpoints
Basics in semen evaluation by photometry and CASA*	Discussion and suggestions for exercises with personalised recommendations
Introduction to flow cytometry
Medium preparation and Semen dilution
Semen cooling, packaging and storage
Semen warming and quality control
