• Audience : DVM’s, Scientists, breeding technicians
• Participants : max. 5 participants
• Pre-requisite : Purchase of a CASA equipment from IMV Technologies - Basic understanding of equine reproduction and prior experience in handling laboratory procedures. Animals should be available for practical exercises

Day 1 - Theoretical explanation and demonstration of :	Day 2 and 3 - Theoretical explanation and practice on :
Advantages of artificial breeding	Practicing with the help of the trainer
Semen evaluation by photometry and CASA*	Practicing on your own with checkpoints
Introduction to flow cytometry	Discussion and suggestions for exercises with personalised recommendations
Medium preparation
Semen dilution, centrifugation, packaging, freezing and storage
Semen thawing and quality control

The content can be customized to address specific needs, with the option to focus more intensively on particular topics of interest.

• Learning Tools : at the end of the training, participants will have not only an overview of the post-cervical artificial insemination steps but will put it into practice to feel more confident in their daily work to use IMV Technologies products
