• Advantages of artificial breeding
• Basics in semen evaluation by photometry and CASA* and introduction to flow cytometry
• Medium preparation and semen dilution
• Semen cooling, packaging and storage
• Semen freezing, packaging and storage
• Semen warming and/or thawing and quality control
• Oestrus management
• Preparation of doses for insemination
