To support our strong international growth, we are looking for a Swine and Imaging Sales Representative based at home in Germany.

 

Role and Responsibilities:

 

The Swine and Imaging Sales Representative will be primarily responsible for developing the name and understanding of the IMV product ranges throughout the DACH region.

 

·        Cover the full sales process from prospect identification, needs evaluation, customised quotations to follow up and negotiation.

·        Business development across the region, including developing and executing annual plans to grow existing accounts, acquire new accounts and launch innovative products.

·        Ability to manage complex sales cycles involving different profiles; for example, the farmer, veterinarian and management.

·        Establish strong relationship with key decision makers and leaders of our customer organizations and initiate visits and maintain a good level of contact with them.

·        Perform field demonstrations, these will sometimes be on farms and with animals (porcine animals mainly)

·        Support your clients to their satisfaction on delivery and installation of their products.

·        Coordinate and share information with the after-sales service department.

·        Develop, share and execute an annual plan to secure and grow existing accounts; to acquire new accounts and to launch new, innovative products.

·        Analyze trends in sales and recommend necessary adjustments.

·        Register all sales activity, pipeline and pipeline follow-up in the CRM system.

·        Provide weekly and monthly qualitative and timely reports with corresponding analysis of sales.

·        Monitor competition and share valuable information inside the group to keep the leading position in the marketplace.

 

The Profile:

 

Education and experience requirements

·        Previous experience in a similar Sales and/or Application Support role would be desirable.

·        Degree qualified in Veterinary medicine or relevant Agricultural discipline.

·        Previous experience in swine reproduction, AI procedures, farm management and pregnancy diagnosis.

·        Previous experience in a sales-focused role is highly desirable.

·        Previous experience scanning animals using ultrasound is desirable.

·        Knowledge of Equine imaging is desirable but not essential

·        Be willing to have up to 90% field presence

·        Languages skill: professional level in English and German is essential.
