IMV Technologies announces new CEO: Alain de Lambilly

L’Aigle, France, Jan. 6, 2020. - IMV Technologies, world leader in assisted reproduction biotechnologies, announces the appointment of Mr. Alain de Lambilly as CEO of the IMV Technologies group, effective Jan. 6, 2020. 

Alain has wide-ranging experience in executive management of global corporations in the medical device and industry businesses.  Most recently, he functioned as CEO of Devicor Medical Products, a Danaher company.  He has managed companies in Europe, Asia, and North America, relocating to France recently from Chicago, Illinois, with his family. 

The recruitment is part of a succession plan, implemented when the IMV Technologies group announced Gilles de Robert’s intent to step into retirement.  “Gilles joined the group in 2006 and led it through a period of strong growth, solidly placed IMV Technologies as the leader in animal assisted reproduction, and more recently as one of the most important veterinary imaging companies focused on livestock and horses.  

“Gilles put together a team of passionate leaders, experts in their fields and loyal to their customers.” reads a statement by the spokesperson of IMV’s management board.  

The statement continues, “We are pleased Alain joins the group to lead IMV into the next decade, continuing to focus on our values of quality, innovation and corporate social responsibility.

“Alain’s leadership skills and international experience will strengthen IMV’s ongoing efforts to develop efficient and sustainable animal agriculture in Russia, Latin America and Africa, while maintaining leadership positions in Europe, North America and Asia. His cross-cultural and global team development experience will foster IMV’s diversity and service around the world.”

Alain has ties to livestock agriculture and remembers fondly his time on the family farm.  “On a personal note, coming to IMV Technologies feels like coming home.”
