This past winter, I bred 43 cows with AlphaVision. I am extremely reassured with this system as I avoid -I am sure of it- to harm the animal with the tip of the gun on the cervix entry or in the vagina. Before using AlphaVision, this stressed me out the most. Furthermore, before thawing the straw, I can control each and every time if there is an infection using the camera. I pay attention also to the amount of visible cervical mucus because the more I can see, the better is the result of the AI.! Sometime, at the beginning of the heat, there is little mucus. So I prefer to wait a few hours then check again. I inseminate when mucus is abundant. The image gives me a lot of useful information impossible to have without AlphaVision. I will never look back!
