Position Summary and Key accountabilities
In order to consolidate our presence in the European region we are hiring an International Sales Manager dedicated to our Ultrasound range of product.
The sales specialist will be tasked with cooperating with the sales team and providing training to new hires, performing in-depth market research, preparing sales forecasts and advertising budgets, as well as updating existing marketing strategies. You should also be able to amend sales policies and make recommendations for business growth.
To be successful as a sales support specialist, you should be able to explain product and service specifications clearly and concisely.
Specific Responsibilities
- Coordinating tech support of Ultrasound equipment with the sales team and training new hires.
- Providing Ultrasound demonstrations to vets and distributors and taking the lead in resolving complaints.
- Conducting market research and sharing findings with the team.
- Maintaining excellent relationships with customers that are built on trust, and encouraging the rest of the sales team to follow this example.
- Looking after competitors’ products, preparing comparison on results
- Set and follow technical trials with the sales team on the farm
- Solved field technical field issue regarding IA, OPU etc..
- Be the link between the sales team and marketing department regarding technical approach for the products
- Maintaining excellent relationships with customers that are built on trust, and encouraging the rest of the sales team to follow this example.
- Coordinate technical studies between sales team, customer and universities
- Marketing specific development :
- Develop academy webinar by species : bovine, swine, fish..
- Video courses per species
- Blended training course
The Person
- Nationality: Open
- Languages: Bilingual English and French mandatory, other languages are a plus (Spanish or German)
- Veterinary degree qualified
- Valid drivers’ licence
Previous Experience and skills
- Proven experience in sales of technical products in the farm animal related industry
- Ability to use ultrasound for clinical diagnostics
- The ability to navigate a multicultural environment both internally and externally
- The ability to understand scientific topics that are relevant to our field
- The ability to travel extensively to customer sites and IMV offices. Expected travel intensity: 50%
