Functions
1. Business development
- Implement the policy framework of IMV Technologies - Sales and Marketing policy into an annual Sales & Marketing Plan.
- Perform field analysis at sector level as input for the Sales and Marketing Plan.
- Develop, share and execute an annual plan to secure and grow existing accounts; to acquire new accounts and to launch new, innovative products.
- Analyse trends in sales and recommend necessary adjustments.
2. Sales
- Be responsible for USA swine customer base (around 70 customers)
- Ability to cover the full sales process from prospect identification, needs evaluation, customized quotations, follow-up and negotiation. Preparation and submission of proposals in response to the visits and submit it to the IMV Sales Manager
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles involving different departments, both internally (technical support, IT, aftersales service, sales administration) and at customer site (purchasing, production, finance, IT, top management).
- Initiate visits and maintain contact with existing key customers and prospective clients
- Be knowledgeable about IMV Technologies product range in order to help our customer find the right solution
- Perform field demonstrations, these will be sometimes on farm and with animals (bovine and porcine animals mainly).
- Identify and establish relationships with high-level executives and key decision-makers across our customer base (CFOs, CEOs, COO, etc.)
3. After Sales
- Support your clients, to their satisfaction after delivery and installation of our products.
- Initiating a solution to any problem areas
- Leverage successful sales
- Coordinate and share information with aftersales service department
- Manage all Accounts payable issues
4. Management and Organisation
- Work with Regional Marketing Manager to create a Swine Marketing plan and be responsible for its execution in your sales territory
- Organizes and takes part in exhibitions\seminars\webinars for the swine market
- Be fully engaged with colleagues throughout the business and be able to build strong working relationships with them.
- Propose improvements in the organization and take the lead on the implantation of some of the organizational improvements.
5. Reporting and administration
- Provide weekly and monthly qualitative and timely reports with the corresponding analysis on sales
- Monthly meeting with Sales Management to share sales results and follow-up, as well as the Sales and Marketing plan.
- Ensure CRM system is kept up to date with sales activities and pipeline follow-up. Maintain accurate pipeline for your own customer portfolio.
Profile
Education
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent in Business, Agribusiness, Marketing or Sales Management.
Qualifications
- 5 years of relevant experience in a Sales focused role.
- Prior experience in swine production is preferable.
- English as native speaker or extremely fluent. Spanish would be beneficial but not essential.
- Computer literate.
