A good part of IMV Technologies operating budget is allocated to R&D.

Our technological leadership allows us to always propose a range of innovative products that have affirmed IMV’s reputation as a precursor and a leader worldwide for technologies surrounding artificial reproduction and cryopreservation.



Our R&D department has an applied research component at its core (veterinary, chemistry, plastics, and life science research) and design department, electromechanical engineering, prototype design and realization at its periphery.

Our R&D department assesses the project feasibility from development to realization for the following:

 products linked to human or animal pharmacopoeia
products with single use (plastic recyclable)
fabrication tools, material and controls necessary to the plastic division.

Furthermore, on top of those responsibilities, R&D is in charge of technology watch and has full creative freedom in the management of its day-to-day operations.

At our disposal:
multiple Autocad environments
a dedicated team to build prototypes with its own controls and tooling.
a network of suppliers and outside vendors
