The world Pork Expo was held in the USA the first week of June. Safemate and Gedis retained a lot of attention. One stud has been using the Safemate for 8 months in the USA: 85% of boars work great with Safemate and the stud cut its labor force by half for the same number of doses.

IMSEM and IMV Technologies organized a technical seminar presenting the new advancement in swine artificial insemination (AI). Staub introduced the latest tool in semen quality evaluation, the EasyCyte, which gives information about the cell physiology not available to common boar studs today.
