The first step in semen collection is one of the most important. A higher quality of semen is collected
when the stallion is at ease and comfortable with the dummy mare. I.M.V.’s unit is designed with the
comfort of the stallion in mind, and at the same time provides the security desired by the handler.
Right or left handed, the choice is yours to collect on “your” side. The dummy mare is manufactured
in galvanized steel and covered with leather and rubber padding weighing approximately 350 kilos.
It is capable of withstanding the stress of force from the stallion mount. The height and angle is
adjustable to fit all breeds and its shape conforms to the mare anatomy. Easy to clean and disinfect
between collections.
