More than 100 people gathered last week for the ribbon cutting ceremony. Officials, IMV employees (current and past), journalists and local partners shared a cocktail and had the opportunity to visit the facility. All were impressed and congratulated IMV for this innovative and modern production tool which will help IMV ahead moving forward.

IMV Technologies (France) has signed an agreement with the Animal Health division of Bioniche Life Sciences Inc., a research-based, technology-driven Canadian biopharmaceutical company for the exclusive distribution of a Bioniche cattle reproduction product and a select group of embryo transfer media products in Europe (excluding Spain, the UK and Ireland). This agreement extends to India, where IMV Technologies will assist Bioniche in the development of marketing plans for that jurisdiction.

Co-developed by INRA and IMV Technologies, INRA Freeze is the first ready to use cryopreservation media for equine semen. This solution that has made inroad Partners with users worldwide, such as Fabrice Simon, breeding supervisor at Haras de la Brosse (France) «I have used INRA Freeze since its first release, I have always been loyal to INRA's techniques, which guarantee that I am at the forefront of equine reproduction technologies.»

Earlier this month IMV Technologies set up the first SAFEMATE (Assisted boar collection system) in Russia.

After a rapid initial training (1 hour), the technicians became proficient with using the technology. The ease of use was right away noticed by the users.

IMV Technologies was one of the exhibitors at the Eurotier show in Hanover, Germany, where the 2010 edition of the world leading animal husbandry exhibition saw a record number of direct exhibitors and visitors.
