Through the combined efforts of our local partner, IVP and of the whole team of IMV Technologies South America, Brazil Foods, the main Brazilian players in the Food Processing industry has  just equipped its new AI center with IMV cutting hedge technology. Brazil Foods made the choice of Innovation and Productivity by adopting the GTB system: the GTB bags, a GTB 1000 to automatically fill, seal and identify the bags, and the Collectis. Through this cutting edge combination, Brazil Foods betters its position in a competitive market.

The GTB bags were the most appealing in view of their compact (reducing storage space by 25%) and multipurpose design (special connector for perfect compatibility with all types of catheters, including intrauterine ones). The GTB 1000 not only offers the most recent technological advances but also features enhanced ergonomics, thus providing additional comfort and increased productivity to its users. In addition, the Collectis will allow the new facility to achieve higher hygiene in semen collections (cutting by 10-fold the level of bacterial contamination in comparison to the manual method), while also promoting employees’ comfort and productivity.

IVP also performs 2000 assessments of swine ejaculates per year for Brazil Foods. It allows the Group to better select and manage its animals, and contributes to improving the productivity of its semen production centers.
