First swine frozen semen laboratory equipped with IMV Technologies

Indeed, the number one of Chinese farms, Wenshi with 270.000 sows, is now using IMV swine frozen semen technologies in order to better control the quality of semen doses.
Using fresh semen doses is hard in China. Semen quality is not guaranty if doses are used more than 2-3 days after collection and after more than a 50 kilometers distance from collection site, because of temperature variation and transportation conditions (big stress impact on semen). With frozen semen, Wenshi is now able to provide doses of quality with a much longer expiry date all around China!

IMV India: New headquarters

The new headquarters of IMV India were officially inaugurated by J.-P. Raturi, his team and 12 distributors from the subcontinent. After the initial ribbon cutting ceremony, Gilles de Robert broke a coconut in half on the doorstep of the new headquarters before lighting a candle according to Indian custom for such events. All present enjoyed their tour of the facility and many are convinced that it will help further develop IMV India. The day went on with meeting between distributors, J.-P. Raturi and Gilles de Robert.

Pig Focus Asia 2008Pig Focus Asia is Asia’s leading independent technical pig conference and is held every two years in Bangkok, Thailand at the prestigious Imperial Queen’s Park Hotel which is located in the popular Sukhumvit area of the city. The conference is held in parallel with similar poultry and dairy events and in 2008 the combined conferences had an attendance of some 600 from almost 30 countries. The conference lasts for three days. The 2010 event will be held on 1 - 3rd March 2010 and will immediately precede Victam Asia (Asia’s leading livestock feeding exhibition which will be held close by in the Queen Sirikit Centre).
